How do you best respond to the same question, over and over again? I know it bothers us more that it does her, but I feel like my responses make her feel badly - even if for a moment.

I wonder what the question is that you're thinking of. Maybe we can come up with a different answer--one that's true, but doesn't make her feel bad.

This has to be one of the worst aspects of caring for the demented. Obviously they don't realize
they are doing it. I am trying this trick...I realize that soon my dad won't even be able to speak at all not to mention the fact that soon he won't even be here at all. That is sobering and gives me patience. Too, I make large paper signs that say things like "We are eating lunch soon" or It's not time to go to sleep yet"....... It's tough....Hope this helps. Kitty
